What is the appropriate age for WipalaBox?

Wipala is designed especially for, and kid-tested by, children ages 5 to 11. For kids on the younger side, we encourage caregivers to read the magazine and do the activities together with their children. We promise you will learn a lot too! 

What is in each WipalaBox adventure?

Every WipalaBox is designed to connect kids to new peoples traditions and ways of life that exist beyond the walls of their immediate world.

Each adventure includes: a 50+ pages of immersive original narrative and activities, custom stickers and bookmark, and a handmade accessory handcrafted by indigenous female artisans from each indigenous community.

Which adventure do I choose first?

All WipalaBox adventures are designed as stand alone and you really can't go wrong!

That being said, our Embera Chami box is our inaugural adventure and, as such, includes more detail about Wi and Pala's origins. Feel free to start with our inaugural box or to begin collecting WipalaBox adventures in any order!

Do you have more adventures?

We are working hard to provide you with more adventures, keep an eye out for more adventures that will take us to learn from cultures in East Asia and Central America.

How do take care of my one-of-a-kind Wipala accessories?

Like all jewelry, WipalaBox treasures should be handled with care and love. To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

Are your products safe?

All of our accessories have been rigorously tested and passed all safety standards for their designated age group.

Wipala products are CPSIA Compliant, Proposition 65 compliant, lead free, non-toxic, and full of human connection and love.

What are the WipalaBox conversation starters?

All of our magazines include digital family conversation starters to help your family continue to learn from other cultures and expand your curiosity about our world.

Shipping & Refunds/Exchanges
How much does shipping cost?

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. You will be offered the best rate available to us along with options for expedited shipping to choose during your checkout process.

How soon will my package ship?

All orders are processed within 4 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking to show movement on the carrier’s site.

Please note that any order placed on a major holiday, or the weekend will be processed the following business day. At the moment, we only have the capacity to ship domestically in the US.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@wipalabox.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Do you offer refunds, returns, or exchanges? 

Sorry, we have a no returns, exchanges, or refunds policy. Please see our Refund Policy for further details. We're a small company and don't have the staffing or system in place to handle returns.

Of course, if a package arrives damaged, please get in touch at info@wipalabox.com and we'll do our best to resolve it.
